The Senior Adviser Audit Services manages the delivery of a risk-based audit program focusing on continuous improvements and value add recommendations in line with industry best practices.
They are expected to be able to constructively engage and influence at all levels to support a robust risk management culture, whilst at the same time remaining objective and independent.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to gain an understanding of our objectives, risk management environment, and the varied needs of our stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing end-to-end assurance on complex audit activities in accordance with IIA Standards.
You will also be responsible for advising management on control effectiveness and contributing to the development and maintenance of an internal control framework by building on the Te Putea Matua's system of internal controls.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience as an audit team leader in the financial services industryRelationship management skills with ability to work with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience leading the end-to-end audit process including quality assurance activitiesKo wai matou - Who we are

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $171,503 to $187,094 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
