Our workshop is a busy one, with more than 20 employees across our electrical switchboard, powder coating and engraving divisions.We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrician to join our team. Ideally, you'll have previous experience with industrial switchboard manufacturing; however, this is not essential.What's in it for you?Extensive training and development opportunities with potential for career growth. Applications that do not meet this criteria will not be considered.Be a fully New Zealand registered Electrician.Have a current NZ Drivers' Licence and reliable transport.Be proficient with power and hand tools.Be reliable, trustworthy and a team player.Be motivated and enthusiastic with a fantastic work ethic.Prove excellent time management and self-organisation skills.Have top-notch communication skills.Be physically able.Show great attention to detail with a solution-focused attitude.Be familiar with current Health & Safety protocols.Role Requirements:Layout and wiring of industrial commercial motor control centres, main switchboards, and light and power distribution boards.Testing to As/NZS 3000/61439 standards.Construction of switchboard panels and framing.Some site work from time to time.Ability to interpret electrical schematics.We're looking for someone that has great attention to detail, with the drive to produce only the highest quality of finished product for our clients.Hours of work will be 8 hours a day: 8am – 4.30pm weekdays with a half-hour lunch break.
