About the Role

Join us as a Level 1 SOC Analyst where you will be responding to security incidents, focusing on network and email-based threats, keeping schools and Kura safe. You will also play a key role in providing critical cover for ongoing project work.

The role includes but is not limited to:

Proactive Security Monitoring: Use tools like SIEM to monitor, detect, and respond to potential security risks, from phishing to malware.

Collaborative Response: Engage with schools and partners, explaining security issues in clear, concise language to support a unified incident response.

Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest in cybersecurity, enhancing our proactive approach to safeguarding schools.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Technical Know-How: Familiarity with network technologies including DNS, web/email protocols, network firewalls (specifically Fortinet), and experience analyzing vulnerabilities and responding to email-based threats (phishing and malware) and using SIEM to discover security vulnerabilities.

Customer-Focused Problem Solver: At least two years of experience in a client-facing role, addressing security issues with clarity and confidence.

Team-Oriented and Resilient: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to manage incidents and ensure quick, efficient resolution.
