Cornerstone Christian School Manawatu/Whanganui Science, Maths and Digital Technology Teacher - Y7-13 Full time, Permanent Area / Composite (Years 1–15), Certificated Teacher Cornerstone Christian School is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified science educator to join our team in a new full-time position, teaching science, maths, and digital technology, to start beginning of 2025 school year. Key Responsibilities: Science (Level 1 NCEA) : Preferred applicants will have a physics qualification or a strong background in physics, alongside the ability to teach general science at Level 1 if and when required. Mathematics (Level 1 NCEA) : The successful applicant will be teaching the NCEA Level 1 Maths curriculum. Junior Science (Years 7–10) : Applicants should be willing and able to teach junior science in a laboratory setting in the Middle School. Digital Technology (Level 1 NCEA) : The successful candidate will introduce and teach a new Level 1 NCEA Digital Technology course, with a view to expanding the course to another Level 2/3 class from 2026. Requirements: Applicants must have a NZ teacher registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council. Experience teaching NCEA Level 1 Science, Maths, and Digital Technology is preferred. A willingness and ability to uphold the special character of the school, and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school, shall be condition of appointment.
