We are a Y1–6 Catholic state integrated school in Hokowhitu, Palmerston North, seeking a dynamic kaiako who empowers akonga to become their best self. The successful applicant will accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the special character of the school.
We welcome innovative practitioners with strong, collaborative interpersonal skills, and cross-curricular expertise. The position will be in a lovely Y3–4 classroom in our school.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about teaching, future-focused with high expectations, and has a sense of wonderment and awe. Strengths with Matauranga Maori and structured literacy, as well as the ability to work with diverse learners, is an advantage.
A commitment to implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi through cultural relationships and responsive pedagogy is very important.
