We are looking for someone to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator. The purpose of the role is to assist the sales team in the development, coordination, and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the company's products and services.
As our Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be tasked with and get the opportunity to assist the marketing team with digital marketing of which the key activities will involve the administration of digital content and printed media as required, which includes:
Content creation across digital platforms including social media, which could include being behind the camera and on-camera.
Communication and execution of campaigns across various areas of business.
Development and implementation of marketing and sales collateral.
Copywriting as needed for content and estate activities.
Website content.
E-newsletters, eDMs, and marketing initiatives to increase sales and brand strategies.
Other tasks include:
Develop marketing strategies, including creating short-term and long-term marketing strategies and advertising campaigns to improve sales across all business units and/or brand awareness. Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate, execute, and if required, supervise marketing activities.
Develop and monitor company budgets for each campaign/strategy, including proposing cost-efficient and/or appropriate budgets and activities for the advertising campaigns. Track spending and coordinate all aspects of producing marketing campaigns, like printing advertising materials and securing influencer support or social media ads.
Track competitors' social media campaigns, including monitoring Zealong's competitors' social media campaigns and improving our current strategies to counter the competition.
Keep up with marketing trends and help ensure Zealong gets maximum coverage by staying updated on new trends and researching fresh marketing ideas and developments.
Report on marketing outcomes and measure the results of each marketing activity.
Ascertain the effectiveness of digital marketing or social media campaigns and present the outcomes to the marketing team, ensuring that the company optimizes every opportunity to achieve successful campaigns every time.
Create, manage, and coordinate social media and advertising campaigns.
Manage multiple stakeholder needs and ensure high-quality creative solutions are delivered to deadline.
Utilize learnings from previous activity, data from internal and external sources to develop and test hypotheses for all campaign activity.
Conduct analysis and produce reporting of each activity identifying impact on commercial results against agreed KPIs.
Support performance, CRM, direct sales, and CX teams with customer-focused creative briefing to support brand messages and identity.
Meet with and/or communicate with prospective customers and pursue sales leads, ensuring the completion of each sales cycle.
Drive integration in the content calendar planning, working closely with the Creative Designer and marketing team, and lead the production of brand content.
Assist the General Manager, management, or the Senior Sales and Marketing Executive with administrative duties, including managing and coordinating tasks outsourced to external vendors, such as printing companies; maintaining an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed; planning and managing marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings; and supporting the marketing team with day-to-day administrative and marketing tasks as may be required.
You will ideally have:
At least 2 years' experience in a marketing role, including digital marketing.
Creative flair with interest in photography and visual communication.
Ability to learn and utilize software in your work.
Good command of English.
Great time management and planning.
Proven experience in various aspects of digital marketing but also with the flexibility to work as needed as part of our sales team.
The ability to work weekends.
The legal right to work in New Zealand.
The ability to travel for work.
