Road Maintenance Foreman

We are seeking a Maintenance Foreman to join our Waihopai Alliance Maintenance team to oversee day-to-day pavement repairs and maintenance activities on the Invercargill City Council network. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
In addition to the above, you will:

Utilise your hands-on skills to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Possess knowledge and experience in maintenance contracts or construction work.
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in a similar role or leadership
Strong programming and planning skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Commitment to promoting a strong health and safety culture within your team
Good communication with customers and other stakeholders
Possession of a Class 2 driver's license, with WTR preferable
All successful candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen prior to employment.
