Let's continue our journey together.As a member of the team, you will play a key role in supporting effective project risk management and compliance practices within AAI. You'll be supporting our Technology teams to deliver on the AA Insurance Risk Strategy, through the provision of expert first line of defence risk advice and support.What you will be doing?Acting as a trusted business partner providing ongoing expert risk advice and support.Conduct training sessions to promote risk awareness across the organization, including leader risk induction training and training to the business on risks, controls, obligations, and any associated actions.Support the business to identify and assess operational risks and controls to mitigate or reduce the possibility of a risk event occurring, engaging with various stakeholders including senior leaders.Supporting projects to identify and assess delivery risks and facilitating the identification of delivered risks.Administration of risks, controls, and obligations through the risk management system (IRIIS).Provide support to business units for incident management and facilitate root cause analysis workshops with the business where relevant.Review control tests completed by the business providing independent oversight and assurance.Complete independent reviews of internal audit action closures to ensure the issue has been fully addressed, supported by evidence, prior to submitting.Co-ordinating, documenting, and administering risk initiatives and requirements and ensure risk data is up to date and accurate.Support the business to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Championing and embedding initiatives in relation to risk maturity.Prepare monthly risk reports and present findings to management.Supporting your business area in completing their Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).To shine in the role:2-3 years' minimum experience in a risk or compliance role is essential.Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks.Qualification in business, law, or accounting is desired.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to analyse data for results and draw key insights.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently build, nurture positive work relationships and collaborate effectively.Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads.Great energy, tenacity, problem-solving skills, and a strong growth mindset.Why you'll love working with us:We have an inclusive and supportive environment and believe every voice matters.
