We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our busy team & manage our day-to-day front of house operations.
The role will require you to work alongside the owner & other senior staff members at The Ranch Bar & Grill, Te Anau, Fiordland.
A person who can build great relationships with both staff and customers while providing excellent service, and is flexible to work weekends and public holidays.
Te Anau is located on the edge of the Fiordland National Park, offering a great lifestyle choice as the gateway to hiking, fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor activities.
The Ranch Bar & Grill has operated for 30 years providing great southern hospitality.
This role is essential in the day-to-day running of our Front of House team, upholding our core values: creating a strong, healthy work environment while also providing our guests with great service.
Your responsibilities will be: Leading the FOH team in service across the week with the support of established DM's.
Training & driving staff to provide excellent customer service.
Ordering & stock control.
Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the weeks are organized with bookings and staff numbers.
Reporting to & working alongside Owner/General Manager.
Cash handling & generating reports when required.
Involvement in rostering & planning.
Maintaining a great workplace culture.
Upkeep of the restaurant space – kept clean, tidy & beautiful.
Our requirements: Ability to work under pressure & thrive.
Experience managing in similar environments.
Works well within a team & has an attitude to lead by example.
Ability to work alone confidently managing table service, coffee making, gaming machine knowledge & strong till and money skills are essential.
Full driver's license is also helpful.
LCQ and Duty Managers certificate essential.
