Restaurant Manager

Diwan 1 Limited is a vibrant, fast-growing restaurant specializing in authentic shawarma and kebabs, dedicated to delivering high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence, who will be responsible for the following duties:
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of team members, setting a high standard by example.
Promote exceptional customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable at all times.
Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Work closely with the kitchen team to handle weekly stock ordering and inventory management.
Oversee delivery checks, verify orders, and manage daily cash handling and banking.
Maintain accurate records for stock, prepare employee timesheets, and manage cash balances.
Conduct weekly inventory checks to minimize wastage and manage stock levels.
Review Weekly Sales & Inventory Reports to identify areas for business improvement in partnership with the owners.
Direct housekeeping and cleanliness standards to maintain a welcoming restaurant environment.
Provide a safe and compliant work environment for staff and customers.
Resolve customer complaints, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.
Deliver exceptional service in handling customer inquiries and meeting their needs.
Oversee purchasing, pricing, and budgeting transactions.
Collaborate with chefs to plan menus, including special events and catering functions.
Maintain accurate stock level records and ensure health regulations are consistently met.
Support team members by assisting in taking orders during busy periods.
Gather customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Assist the owners in recruiting new staff and support ongoing staff training and supervision in both the kitchen and service areas.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $29 to $34 per hour.
Other requirements for the role :
Six Months of relevant work experience.
Relevant qualification is highly preferable.
Knowledge of Indian food is strongly preferable.
Available to work late evening shifts.
Available to work on weekends.
Leadership skills.
Team worker and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Multi-tasker.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift.
8 hour shift.
Weekend availability.
