About the role

Dynamic and varied work environment.
Multidisciplinary teams servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population.
No two days are ever the same here, and with our service operating on a 24/7 basis with on-call rostering.
Working alongside our Anaesthetists, as well as Doctors and Nurses, you'll assist with surgeries, and the odd bit of Operating Theatre set up.
You may even help administer blood pressure and other medications on occasion too.
Working on a rotating roster basis, you'll find shifts are usually around 8-10 hours, so along with a stable full-time work structure you'll have plenty of room to get out and do life.
Operate and collaborate in a dynamic environment with like-minded colleagues that value professionalism alongside light-heartedness.

About you

Enthusiastic experienced Anaesthetic Technicians looking for an exciting change.
Hold registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the APEX Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, between $ and $ p.a dependant on relevant experience.
