Queenstown based leadership role with an established and successful Quantity Surveying and Cost Management business based in their Queenstown office. This key appointment can offer progression towards shareholding and Directorship for the right person.This respected construction advisory business provides diverse Quantity Surveying services to a range of clients from developers and public clients, through to financial institutions and construction contractors.As the business expands its footprint, the Queenstown office has a unique opportunity for someone to take on the day-to-day management of the regional business and be a succession plan for the regional Director. The role will include managing and developing the team of quantity surveyors, providing technical support and advice as required.You will have a key focus on developing positive relationships with clients, securing repeat work, and identifying new business opportunities. Working with the Director, you will develop and implement long-term business plans, manage and report on business performance, and identify areas for business and system improvements.The Queenstown office is established, running well, and enjoys a positive, relaxed, and social team environment. This is a great opportunity to lead a successful business into the next chapter of growth and be mentored by an experienced and supportive Director.ExperienceWe are looking for extensive Quantity Surveying experience with good technical knowledge of the New Zealand construction market, contracts, and building methods. You will have a proven ability in leading and developing small teams, experience in client relationship management, and be happy being hands-on with some technical work while having an interest in contributing to the long-term business plan.The success of this business has been based on its team ethos and culture, and it is critical that you enjoy working in a sociable and professional team environment.
