You lead a dedicated team focused on recruiting exceptional Support Workers, ensuring that we not only attract top talent but also create a welcoming and seamless onboarding experience for every new employee. Your leadership is crucial in fostering a supportive environment that empowers our staff to thrive and make a meaningful impact in the community. Together, you and your team are the driving force behind building a compassionate and effective workforce!This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday based in our Auckland CBD Office.Responsibilities:Ensuring compliance with Employment, Holidays, GH and Pay Equity legislation.Manage onboarding and pre-employment learning, in conjunction with local management.Work closely with coordination functions within the Group (e.g. Rostering Team) to ensure that GH requirements, support worker requests, hours gaps are efficiently managed.Full end to end recruitment including screening, interviewing, testing and onboarding.Ensuring that all candidate information is updated and maintained correctly.Organising inductions for staff to ensure that information on promotional opportunities, salaries and services is provided.Conducting comprehensive job briefs with Hiring Managers to ensure all information is collected prior to commencing recruitment.Work collaboratively with Line Managers to keep them updated on current and future recruitment activities.Effectively advise potential and current candidates on Collective Agreements, Employee Contracts and Wage payments.Lead and develop your team, ensuring that Talent Management and Succession Planning for critical positions is actively managed.Create and implement effective workforce development plans for your assigned area of responsibility, including recruitment and retention of team members.Display and promote the values of the business in everything that you say and do.Build and maintain effective relationships with your team members and be highly visible.Implement improved processes and provide advice consistent with organisational plans, policies, and values.Monitor the effectiveness of team members' decision making and the delivery of services your team provides.Engage in quality initiatives and investigations as required from time to time.Report on key quantitative and qualitative measures on your recruitment measures to management where required.Minimum Qualifications:Proven experience in a Recruitment, Human Resources, or Operations role.Minimum 3 years of experience working within the health/disability or community services sectors.Previous experience using recruitment software Snaphire and Resman.Experience working in a centralised recruitment and/or workforce management function.Proven leadership experience.In-depth knowledge of Collective Agreements, employee contracts and wage payments.In-depth knowledge of Guaranteed Hours and Pay Equity requirements.Experience leading tradeshows and recruitment campaigns.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of people with health and disability needs.Strong and effective negotiation and influencing skills.Only suitable candidates will be contacted for interview and applications will be reviewed as they are received, therefore resulting in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.
