Job Description
Do yourself a power of good
Want to work somewhere where you are doing good for the world, your community and yourself at the same time?
Whatever your role at Vector, you're an integral part of finding solutions for some of the world's biggest challenges, and making a fundamental difference to the lives of 1.7 million people in the Auckland community.
If you want to do a power of good for yourself and the world, consider a career at Vector.
The role
With Vector Group's reach across energy, technology and fibre, we're looking for the best of the best across different functions: engineers, developers, accountants, marketers, business analysts, lawyers and many more. We're looking for a passionate IT recruiter to join our team and help find the talent we need.
You'll manage the end-to-end recruitment function primarily for our IT portfolio, though you'll be willing and able to support recruitment to other roles when required. This role will have a strong focus on building and maintaining proactive talent pipelines and ensuring the provision of a robust and best-practice recruitment process and an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
You'll utilise a combination of advertising and proactive search to attract and hire diverse talent, leveraging creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
Who are we looking for?

You'll be an established IT recruiter with several years' experience in internal recruitment and providing an end-to-end recruitment service.
Previous experience within an IT/technology portfolio is essential, and you'll be conversant in the technical nature of these roles.
You have a track record of leveraging sourcing strategies that successfully target hard-to-find talent, including internationally, and which strengthens the organisation's diversity.
Your aptitude for data analytics helps you create insightful and engaging recruitment reports for your portfolio.
Naturally, your interpersonal skills will be your strength, helping you build relationships with stakeholders as a trusted partner, and to engage authentically with candidates and provide a recruitment experience that is second to none.

Why us?
Whether it's the opportunity to work on challenges on a truly global scale in collaboration with leading technology firms, or to build a legacy for Auckland and New Zealand through your work; or perhaps to work in an innovative and transformative sector, or our commitment to supporting your development, there's a myriad of reasons to choose a career with Vector.
We also offer:

A fun, flexible and stimulating work environment, full of interesting work being done by smart and innovative people.
Flexibility, including the choice of working from home a couple of days a week, and flexible start and finish times so you can balance work and life.
Health and wellbeing support.
Great benefits that reflect the importance of family.

Applications close Tuesday 12 November; however, interviews may be held as applications are received, so apply today!
