Based in Christchurch and with new offices in Woolston, we deliver Coaching both domestically and internationally, provide EAP services nationally, Recruitment Services internationally and Work Readiness programmes locally. This means our clients live here in NZ and around the world, including Asia and Europe, they are generationally, culturally and socially diverse.
As a Coach and Recruiter for the Careerfit46 team your skills and abilities need to reflect our clients . You experience working with people from diverse backgrounds will enhance your knowledge and with an increasing Latino client base your ability to speak a second language ideally fluent in Spanish, will make you an ideal fit.

As a team, we also value flexibility andthis may include weekends or late-night work on occasions to meet our international clientele time zones and needs. With a new office space to meet clients and support each other, we are driving a team culture and encourage you tobe based in the office with us.
The experience we are looking for includes:
Agency and Internal Recruitment
Experience working in a recruitment agency, as a recruiter managing the 360-recruitment process, supporting clients and candidate in the end-to-end recruitment process.
Knowledge of recruiting permanent technical roles in the construction and or Tech sectors, and experience recruiting roles at middle and senior management level.
Updating CRM database, maintaining key information to support effective candidate and client management. Using the software to manage daily activities including emails, creating tasks, arrange appointments and follow up on actions.
Creating and storing documents in client and candidate files including job descriptions, notes and references to build an accurate, robust and informed profile.
Experience working with hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment process including at the psychometric and ability testing stage to provide wider insight and support hiring decisions. This will include arranging, submitting, reviewing and outlining findings, to identify and match applicants against the hiring managers requirements.
Internal recruitment experience working closely with the management team, writing and placing adverts aligned to hiring managers brief, reviewing CV's, prequalifying applicants by phone and or online, shortlisting and submitting applicants for consideration.
Supporting applicants throughout the process, building rapport, sending regular updates and representing the hiring company in a professional, approachable and efficient way.
Arranging interviews throughout the hiring process, completing references and required documentation, building connection and understanding of both the hiring managers needs and the applicants to achieve successful placements, for both the hiring team and candidate.
Your understanding of the difference between internal and external recruitment will be essential as you wear different hats at different times. Your willingness to deliver against both types of recruitment will be further evidenced in your drive to secure new recruitment clients by completing cold calls against weekly KPI's.
Coaching
Working with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with their own story and journey makes this side of the job varied and requires you to have the ability to support our clients as they travel their own pathway, wherever they are on their journey. These services include, CV writing, interview techniques, job search strategies and confidence building. Wearing a coaching hat is different to being a recruiter and will draw on your skills in writing applications, CVs, interview skills and more.
Contracts with NGOs to deliver workshops and presentations for small groups as well as on a one-on-one basis, you need you to be confident in your knowledge to support a range of job seekers, answer their questions and present a range of content designed to support the job search journey. Previous experience delivering workshops would be ideal.
As the job market never stands still, nor should your knowledge and this makes being up to date and creating relevant resources essential. Whether used for one-on-one coaching to support a more personalized approach, or resources for workshop delivery and presentations, you will know how to meet the needs of people with different learning styles to maximize engagement.

Knowledge in creating professional posts, reels and content for social media will support our ongoing workload, increase brand awareness and facilitate business development.

As a recruitment professional you will be key to our growth, which means you must be comfortable with making cold calls and undertaking business development.
To be considered for this role you will also have:
A related degree
2-5 years' work experience including supporting international clients based in NZ and in their home countries
A Second language - preferably Spanish to a high standard of competency
Flexibility to work weekends or late nights as required to meet our international clientele time zones.
Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle
