OneStaff Invercargill has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruiter or an individual seeking a new challenge, to join our busy team. We are searching for a motivated individual who has a passion for dealing with people, to help us take advantage of the increasing need for recruitment services in the Southland region. This position will focus on providing recruitment and labour hire services to a variety of industries, from trades and construction to transport, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering. You'll be required to build up skilled talent pools of active candidates who are seeking new employment at a variety of levels. Working as part of a team and running a busy temporary workforce, your role will also focus on the health and safety of our onsite personnel. Your ability to build rapport with candidates, read their motivations, be empathetic to their situation, and supportive in your approach will ensure successful integration into the OneStaff model - where we truly focus on enabling our candidates to feel part of our family through their recruitment journey. The core duties of the role involve: Recruitment: Sourcing personnel for a large variety of local businesses. This involves personally running a full recruitment cycle to source and select the best employees for many external vacancies. Labour hire: Managing and growing a large workforce of employees on short-term temporary & permanent contracts; being deployed across a variety of Southland businesses for varying lengths of time. Health & Safety: Effectively managing the day-to-day health and safety of our temporary workforce through well-established internal systems and processes. To be considered for this role you must have: A fantastic attitude with strong personal drive. A passion for customer service and dealing with people. The ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying composed. Experience operating and maintaining a large database. The ability to work as a part of a team and have a laugh as you go... a sense of humour is a must have.
