We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and drive the People and Culture function at Stabicraft Marine. Earlier this year Stabicraft underwent significant change, and now we're looking forward to a fresh start. We're on a mission to reshape our organisational culture, and we need someone like you to help us chart the course ahead! In this sole charge role, you will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in the Senior Leadership Team. Your expertise will be key in setting the strategic direction for our organisation and overseeing all aspects of HR. Based from the birthplace of adventure, Stabicraft's HQ in Invercargill! Surrounded by ocean views in the heart of Southland, you will foster a positive engaged team culture. Provide expert advice on recruitment, remuneration and performance management. Elevate our existing capability by continued investment in staff training and development. Manage employment relations and ensure compliance with New Zealand employment legislation. Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and build a cohesive, high-performing team. This role would be perfect for a seasoned HR practitioner who is either looking to take the next step in their career or already has experience in a senior role. Key skills, experience and attributes required for this role are; Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels. Exceptional communication skills with proven experience working in a diverse, multicultural workplace. Previous HR experience at a senior level is essential. Ideally you will also have a tertiary qualification in human resources or business. In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation.
