Ready For Living Project Lead

The Gore District Council is looking for a strong candidate who can support the older community of the district and enable them to be active.We want someone who can create an age-friendly community where older people are valued, respected, and empowered to live fulfilling lives.This is a fixed-term role, with part-time hours.
You will be involved in implementing the Ready for Living Age-Friendly Strategy.
You will also be responsible for strengthening relationships with local iwi, promoting inclusivity, representing older people in the community, and developing user-friendly resources.You must have a relevant tertiary qualification, experience in community-led development, excellent communication skills, and a current driver's license.Social service qualifications, understanding of the aged sector, and experience with community groups are desirable.Applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.Applications close at 5:00 pm, Sunday 11 August.Contact the AdvertiserEmail: (Insert Email Here) #J-18808-Ljbffr
