As a Qualified Reliever Teacher, you'll be at the heart of our mission to shape brighter futures for children across Aotearoa. This role requires:
NZQA approved qualification in early childhood teaching
Full registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
Current practicing certificate
Your role will be crucial in: Providing high-quality, professional care and education in various early childhood settings
Supporting children's curiosity and development through responsive, play-based learning
Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver engaging, culturally responsive programs
Key Responsibilities Implement curriculum aligned with Te Whariki, adapting quickly to different center environments
Contribute to planning and evaluation of learning programs that respond to children's interests
Create inclusive, equitable learning opportunities that celebrate diversity
Document children's learning through profile books and e-portfolios as needed
Maintain professional standards and stay current with ECE best practices
Qualifications and Experience NZQA approved qualification in early childhood teaching (required)
Full registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (required)
Current practicing certificate (required)
Experience working with young children in various ECE settings
Ability to use initiative and adapt to new environments quickly
Commitment to quality practice and the principles of Te Whariki
Excellent communication skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude
