Qualified Maintenance Engineer

A position has become available in our South Otago based team for a motivated & skilled individual.
The position is varied and includes structural, fabrication, repair & maintenance tasks, including a well compensated for on-call roster.
Your duties will include:
maintaining, installing, and supporting operations and operational equipment
planning and executing reactive and preventative maintenance works
maintaining a very high standard of Health & Safety standards
working with the Maintenance Supervisor, to minimise plant downtime
replacing &/or repairing damaged or defective components
attending to and addressing breakdowns
plant upgrades and project work
rostered on-call service
Depending on experience, there is a very attractive remuneration package for the right person!
What we need from you:
a full New Zealand driver licence
fluent English speaking, writing and reading
team player with proven work ethic and positive attitude
ability to identify and report hazards to promote our safety
culture
a trade qualification in general engineers or maintenance and diagnostics
aptitude to work independently as well as part of the team
high attention to detail
