Property Manager - Short Stay & Holiday Homes Full time
The Stay Hub is an independently owned Short Term Rental / Holiday Homes Property Management company and very proud to be partnered with Homes & Villas by Marriott International.
The company now requires an additional Property Manager to meet the significant growth of this department. We are willing to consider candidates with a minimum of 2 years of Property Management experience and above, with a preference to some experience in short stay property management.
This role has the key responsibility of ensuring all aspects of property management are strategically performed to ensure the property owners are given the surety of occupation as well as having complete trust that their asset will be professionally managed. You will also be looking to ensure that all owners and guests are provided with nothing less than a five-star experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners through proactive and responsive communications.
Monitor property usage to identify any guest satisfaction matters.
Communicate to owners any property maintenance needs.
Coordinate maintenance schedule and assignments for property portfolio.
Conduct or schedule regular property inspections.
After-hours communication and responses to emergency issues at the rental properties.
Understand owners' financial goals and operate their property appropriately and in alignment with The Stay Hub's business objectives.
Communicate property performance to owners with assistance from the revenue management team.
Maintain and submit accurate invoices and records for all transactions (inspection reports, work orders, supply inventory, etc.).
Approve monthly owner statements in conjunction with the accounting department.
Administrative
Ensure property profiles/files are accurately maintained.
Communicate property offboarding information to other departments, as required.
Lead emergency response for property portfolio to minimize liabilities (i.e., weather, employee/guest injuries, fires, floods, freezes, etc.).
Provide support to all staff to encourage teamwork. Lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment.
Maintenance
Maintain Wi-Fi, noise monitoring, digital locks, and other smart home technology in assigned homes.
Assure quality and quantity of inventory items in each property.
Carry out minor repairs as needed.
What skills and experience will get you noticed?
Having at least 2 years of property management experience.
Exposure to short stay property management.
Some exposure to facilities management will be a definite advantage.
Strong administrative experience, preferably from within property or hospitality.
Being very accurate, calm, and organized, and having great attention to detail.
A passion for delighting customers with top customer service.
Highly motivated, self-starter.
This is a busy role with lots going on and with something new happening every day.
