We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our construction project managers in overseeing various construction projects within the Department of Corrections Asset Management Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and standards.
As the Project Coordinator, you'll support project managers in planning, executing, and finalising construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and stay within budget. You'll coordinate schedules, manage resources, and facilitate communication among contractors, architects, and internal departments. Your duties include maintaining project documentation, monitoring progress, and providing updates to project managers. Additionally, you'll participate in meetings, helping to prepare agendas and document key discussions.

Demonstrate an understanding of document control and principles of project coordination leading to best practice project outcomes.
Contract and financial management experience are important, but also, a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Proven ability to work in a team and collaboratively achieve results.

Utu a-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $88,576 and the full range (85%-120%) is $75,290 - $106,292. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
