The Opportunity:Working across all aspects of land development, the Project Manager - Delivery, will play a crucial role in ensuring our residential development projects run smoothly and are delivered successfully. Some of your key duties will include:Manage day-to day activities on-site.Contractor procurement and engagementManagement of sub-contractors, including reviewing and processing contractor claimsManage the preparation of consent compliance applications and associated territorial/regional authority approval processes, and application for certificate of titleManage quality assurance processes in accordance with company systems and compliance with territorial/regional authority consents, including risk managementPlan, prepare and update the construction programmeCollaboration with design teams and consultantsPromote and adhere to Health and Safety regulations, policies and proceduresReport and identify on risk, efficiencies on-site, and cost to ensure the company's targets are achievedAbout you:We are looking for a Project Manager or Project Engineer that has experience preparing and delivering residential and/or commercial land development projects on-site here in New Zealand. Other requirements include:A relevant qualification in Civil Engineer, land surveying or similar is desired.Strong planning and programming skillsExcellent people management and stakeholder communication skillsAn understanding of the design elements to cost engineer projectsThis role requires you to be on-site and travel throughout the wider Wellington regionA good understanding of the land development process.Have a working knowledge of NZS3910, 3915 & 3916 Construction ContractsProficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.You need to be a New Zealand resident, or have a valid work visa to be consider for this opportunity.Why join Classic?We are an energetic, collaborative and supportive team who have a people-focused culture and a clear vision.
