The Company Our client is a Project Management consultancy, specializing the construction industry. Their team of experienced Project Managers specialize in various sectors including commercial, residential, education, hotels, infrastructure, sports facilities and more. They work from a cool Grey Lynn based office and manage a wide range of projects, from refurbishments to sizeable projects exceeding $300M. On their behalf, we are seeking a Part Time Project Administrator to support their Project Management team. This is a part time role initially starting at around 15 hours a week and over time it will likely build up to 20 - 30 hours a week. This is an office-based role, and ideally, it would be 5 hours a day for 3 days a week. As the role grows there could be some flexibility offered to work from home. Preference will be to attract someone who has previous experience as a Project or Construction Administrator. Role will involve: Setup files for new projects Prepare agendas and drafting of meeting minutes Preparing project reports Drafting progress certificates Drafting contract instructions and variations Preparing fee proposals Drafting requests for fee proposals and construction tenders Capturing data and invoices into payment summary spreadsheets Updating of budget spreadsheets. (Must have good excel) Manage Xero payments and company invoicing Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team, so you can be a great support Some marketing support, organizing events, client meetings, light PA duties About You Strong time management skills Ability to meet deadlines Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel is a must Experience using Xero will be a bonus, as will exposure to Aconex and Procore software Good written communication skills Proactive, organised work habits. Strong attention to detail. Accuracy in your work. Have a can-do attitude, willing to pitch in where needed Able to work in the Grey Lynn office 3x week Preference will go to those who have experience in a similar administrative support role, from within Construction/ Project management space.
