We are a Nationwide Vehicle Reseller that has celebrated over 10 years in business.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Controller to work in our head office Hub based in Onehunga, Auckland.
This is a full-time permanent employment (minimum 35 guaranteed hours rostered between Monday to Sunday, between 8 am and 5.30 pm, with overtime required at times.
Job Description: • Ensuring that all materials needed for the production process are available on time from suppliers.
• Coordinating with other departments such as accounting to ensure that invoices have been paid and that bills have been settled.
• Tracking production schedules and making sure that they are met by communicating changes to the production team.
• Communicating with suppliers to place orders, review quality control procedures, and address any issues that may arise during production.
• Coordinating work hours with management to ensure that production needs are met efficiently and effectively.
• Preparing reports on the status of production, including any delays or problems that may occur.
• Overseeing the financial aspects of a production, such as costs and revenues, to ensure that it is profitable.
• Maintaining inventory of raw materials and finished products using computer programs such as Excel spreadsheets.
• Reviewing production reports to identify any potential problems with the product.
The successful applicants will need the following skills: • At least 2 years experience within an Automotive factory setting.
• Be able to work well with in a team environment.
• Be honest and reliable.
• Be self motivated and efficient in work procedures.
• Be quick and accurate when carrying out duties.
• Have good communication skills, listen and follow instructions, be able to fill in paperwork accurately.
• Be punctual and be able to work extra hours when required.
• Have a New Zealand/Overseas/International Drivers License.
The pay range for this position is between $30 and $35 per hour based upon experience.
