Currently a small but mighty team, we are growing and heavily investing in building our product line technical expertise and capabilities across a number of categories.
Our Product Managers are trusted category experts that help drive strategic direction and profitable growth, while nurturing the technical aspects of our Home Solutions products. With an ability to source and interpret market and competitor intel, you will lead our product knowledge and understanding in the HVAC category to support strategy formation, inform decision making and project planning. We have a pre-determined product pathway mapped out over the coming years; you will manage the technical and detailed specifications of your products for pricing and project requirements for the New Zealand and Australian markets.
You will be working closely with the wider Home Solutions business, Haier and FPA connected ecosystems teams to identify new trends to coordinate and project manage new HVAC products to market and develop the commercial strategy content to meet the needs of your fellow integrated Home Solutions team, developing relevant channels (existing and new) to market. Liaising with the FPA compliance teams, you will ensure effective product delivery with a positive and timely impact in the market.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is passionate about product development and management, preferably with, but not limited to experience within the HVAC industry. Your technical HVAC expertise will be coupled with a product development, sales or commercial nous to take us forward.
You will be great at influencing stakeholders across the business and throughout the product life cycle with great work, sound reasoning, and your natural collaborative style. On the technical side, you may have an Engineering Degree or similar, but that's not what's important here!
You may have previously worked in a technical product manager or technical manager role, but don't let us pigeon-hole you.
A key component of what you have to offer is that you've got data driven analytical ability. You may even be an experienced Engineer looking for a change? Finally, while a certain level of aptitude is important to us, the right attitude is crucial.
