New World Paremata is looking for a Produce Manager / Supervisor to lead our produce department. This role is ideal for someone who has supermarket experience in any department and who wants to develop their career in the supermarket industry.

No produce or leadership experience? No problem. The number 1 thing we look for is a great attitude and commitment. So, if you have these attributes, we can teach you everything you need to know to be a successful produce manager.

About the role:

Ensure shelves are fully stocked with a great range of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the day.

Inspect incoming produce for quality and freshness, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Arrange displays attractively to showcase seasonal items and promotions.

Achieve agreed department sales, GP and wage targets

What we are looking for:

Supermarket experience

Customer and people focused

Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role

Results driven and good attention to detail
