We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whanau at the heart of everything we do.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Te Puna Aonui is seeking a Principal Advisor in the Office of Chief Executive. The role will require a deep understanding of the machinery of government and a proven ability to provide strategic advice. You will be responsible for ensuring that complexities are understood and advice is interconnected across the business unit. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities related to the CE's direct accountabilities and you will collaborate with the System Policy team to deliver strong and effective advice to government. You will support the Ministerial Services function to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables, including leading complex responses to WPQs and OPQs.
O pukenga/Skills and Experience

Superior, proven research and information management skills.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the processes of Ministerial servicing and government.
Advanced knowledge of, and experience applying, governance practices and advising others on effective decision-making processes.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Utu a-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $128,129 and $166,062 based on skills and experience.
