They consistently provide and deliver top-notch and timely thought leadership and decision making as well as strategic, tactical and specialist technical advice to the Manager and team.The Principal Advisor Determinations is responsible for issuing decisions on determinations under delegated authority.As a leader in the team, the main responsibility of this role is to ensure that the determinations function is operating with maximum efficiency and effectiveness. They maintain high standards of quality in decision making in determinations, and communicate any systemic issues found in determinations to key stakeholders in the building regulatory system.Principal members of the team contribute to best practice both from a technical and process perspective. An important part of the role will be the coaching, training and mentoring of advisors and senior advisors.This is your opportunity to step up and utilise your extensive building and/or legislative knowledge to solve some complex issues and support compliance with building regulation.
