Pre Construction Manager

Salary: Up to $210,000 + vehicle or car allowance
Projects: 3 waters, pipelines, pump stations, subdivisions, roading construction, commercial site works and structures

This multiple award-winning Christchurch civil contractor is considered to be an employer of choice. With aspirations to grow their business in a declining local market, the need has arisen for a Pre Construction Manager to join their team after losing a valued staff member overseas. In this role, you will report into the Commercial Manager and General Manager and be a key link as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
They are looking for a skilled Estimator capable of pricing a broad range of projects from $1 million to $30 million in Christchurch and Canterbury. Ideally, you will have:

Estimating / tendering experience in civil infrastructure / contracting industry
Strong commercial and contractual acumen
Client relationship management experience and proven successful outcomes
Experience with collaborating with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
Estimating software experience
Business development and client contacts to sniff out future construction opportunities

You will work in a professional environment with like-minded professionals and interact with the General Manager, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager, Quantity Surveyors, and Divisional Managers.
