### Key Responsibilities
- **Media Relations:** Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with local media contacts. Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- **Content Creation:** Support the development of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and corporate website updates.
- **Event Coordination:** Help plan, organize, and execute company events, such as community outreach programs, press conferences, and promotional campaigns.
- **Research and Analysis:** Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform PR strategies. Analyze campaign performance metrics and prepare reports for internal review.
- **Brand Monitoring:** Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding ConocoPhillips and prepare summary reports for stakeholders highlighting key insights and trends.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, and HR to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding efforts.
- **Administrative Support:** Provide administrative support to the PR department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files and databases.
### Requirements
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in public relations, communications, or a similar role; relevant internships will be considered.
- **Skills:**
- **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, effective planning abilities to manage multiple projects, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems, and basic understanding of PR analytics tools.
