About You: You are an ambitious engineer with 6 years of consultancy experience in power system analysis, particularly with HV/MV substations.
You hold a degree in engineering and have a deep understanding of industry specifications, standards, and codes.
Proficient in power system analysis tools such as DIgSILENT, Sincal , and others, you have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
Your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and you thrive in a collaborative team environment where you can mentor and support others.
The Role: In this exciting position, you will be a vital part of our consultancy team, working on a range of innovative projects focused on the design and upgrade of HV Substation facilities across New Zealand.
You will perform in-depth power system analysis using industry-standard tools like Power Factory, PSCAD, and ETAP, generating insightful and analytical reports based on network and generation studies.
Your responsibilities will include leading technical discussions with clients to determine optimal solutions, as well as developing protection standards and philosophies for both client and internal use.
