Build outstanding relationships and lead a small team of Learning Designers.Be part of leading the change to enable electricity sector workforce growth and development, towards a more sustainable energy future.To support this growth, The Sector Workforce Development Group, part of our People Division at Transpower, is committed to defining, developing and delivering top-tier vocational training programs that ensure our people, and those who work with us, possess the skills and capability to undertake their roles effectively and safely.About the teamThe Sector Workforce Development Group is committed to developing and designing comprehensive training programs that equip Transpower employees and our Service Providers with the specialised skills and knowledge necessary to safely and effectively operate our National Grid assets.About the opportunityYou'll lead a small team of contract and permanent staff and play a key role in:Building productive key strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Overseeing and coordinating a range of training programs, including training development, design, and projects.Managing programme compliance (service specifications, etc.), accountabilities, and deliverables.Leading exciting change within your Trades or Technical portfolio, that contributes to ensuring the electricity sector has the skills workforce required to achieve decarbonisation targets for Aotearoa.What will you bring?You'll be a people leader with outstanding communication skills. You'll excel in a change environment and have professional experience, including vocational education and work-based training.
