We are looking for platform capability leads in the following areas:
Digital Channels PlatformClient Management PlatformIntegration and Data PlatformCorporate PlatformDelivery Assurance PlatformTasked with the responsibilities of leading IST team engagement in collaboration with business stakeholders to define capabilities required to be enabled by platforms. This involves understanding business strategy and priorities, needs assessment and business requirements, proposing high quality technology solutions, estimating work, and aligning prioritised work into IST delivery commitments.
Reporting to Platform Managers, Platform Capability Leads work closely with the Director of Portfolio Engagement and corrals the support of wider IST team members such as platform architects, delivery leads and delivery teams to ensure IST's engagement with service portfolio is well represented with the right talent, organised, and fosters a collaborative culture to solve problems.
Additionally, having Platform Capability Leads working closely with the business ensures that the platforms are designed and evolved based on actual business needs, promoting a user-centric approach, enablement of reusable capabilities across the IT landscape and ensuring IST architect and design technology solutions that scale over time and removes technical debt.
Platform Capability Leads bring a strong blend of business and technical engineering skills to their work, with a strong background of delivery planning and management; including demand management, workforce planning, delivery prioritisation, partner relationships management and financial acumen to manage budgets and cost recoveries.
The role will be accountable for:
Engaging and aligning business with business stakeholders to deliver responsive and innovative technology solutions and fostering collaborative cross-functional relationships.Contributing to ensure architectural standards and design principles are in place and adhered to in the delivery of technology solutions.Ensuring the right team capacity, specialisations and skills are appropriately planned, funded, and engaged to support work efforts within the solution delivery lifecycle.Contributing towards investment planning and business case writing for platform needs and collaborating with platform colleagues to prioritise and agree areas of technology investments and roadmaps.Leading and embedding agility and continuous delivery using DevSecOps practices to accelerate the delivery of quality engineered capabilities.Enabling platform engineering expertise in the team and leading the design, development, and maintenance of robust platform capabilities.Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of epics and performance of delivery teams within their responsibility areas.Managing operational vendor and partner relationships and performance for the delivery of services.Ko wai koe | About You You will bring with you:
Experience as a technology leader, who has strong engineering and delivery experience in the context software and application services.Strategic thinking, planning and leadership capabilities in the context of improving and enabling platform capabilities; especially in the domain of application services, data and integration capabilities.A strong people leader, who is empowering, open, transparent, has upfront approach, and experienced in planning and delivering change initiatives.Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, commercial relationships and managing strategic partnerships.Demonstrated experience in leading delivery projects and programmes in a complex environment in a matrix team model.We are an organisation that has people at the centre of our work.
