Originally founded in Christchurch, we have expanded across New Zealand with seven branches and further plans for growth in 2025. The Role: As the National Manager based in our North Shore branch, you'll be starting, developing, and leading a talented team of recruiters. Your primary focus will be to drive operational excellence, foster a high-performing culture, and ensure we continue to exceed client and candidate expectations. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day management and billing responsibilities. Your success will directly contribute to the continued growth and profitability of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Proven Leadership: Bring your experience to the table and lead by example. We want a leader who is hands-on, inspires others, and drives the team towards success.
Sales-Focused Business Development: Use your expertise to develop and implement strategies that will drive revenue growth, attract new business, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Team Management: Oversee and guide the recruitment consultants, ensuring high productivity, engagement, and ongoing professional development.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key clients and candidates. Be a trusted advisor to your clients while ensuring the best talent is placed.
Performance Focused: Manage and monitor performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions to meet KPIs.
What We're Looking For:
With a minimum of two years' experience running a recruitment team, you've got a track record of success and have a strong understanding of the industry.
You possess a unique combination of exceptional talent, a strong sales orientation, and a charisma that sets you apart from others.
With exceptional interpersonal skills, you can build rapport with clients and candidates and know how to motivate a team to deliver exceptional results.
You're results-driven, and you understand how to balance client needs, team goals, and operational efficiency.
You're adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
You bring a strategic mindset combined with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
