Join us as a People Experience HRIS Analyst, where your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of MIT and Unitec's HRIS systems!
Purpose of the position In this critical role, you will be reporting to the HRIS Manager and will play a pivotal part in the MIT & Unitec HRIS Team.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our HRIS systems, including SAP SuccessFactors (myMIT), effectively meet the needs of the Institutes.
This includes overseeing data management, maintenance processes such as onboarding, T&C's variations, offboarding, organisational structure updates, issue resolution in SuccessFactors, and contributing to reporting and remuneration processes.
Key responsibilities Maintenance of people activities in myMIT: Execute fortnightly maintenance processes, including position management updates, onboarding and variations to Terms and Conditions.
Process bulk salary increases and allowances.
Collaborate with Payroll and the People Experience Coordinator to resolve queries and create how-to guides for myMIT.
Data integrity of myMIT: Ensure consistent system performance.
Troubleshoot and work closely with Payroll and our system vendor to resolve system issues.
Test appropriate fixes in our Test environment.
Oversee the integrity of Position management, organisational structure, and document any changes to processes.
Collaborate with Business Partners to ensure all off-boarding processes are initiated.
What we are looking for: Experience with HRIS systems combined with a background in HR or Payroll.
Your experience working with a variety of Collective Agreements and varying Terms and Conditions will also stand you in good stead, as will your understanding of Employment Law with regards to payroll.
You will utilise your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
If you are an effective communicator with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders including managers, employees, payroll, and external vendors, and you enjoy problem-solving, you will enjoy the freedom to utilise your initiative.
