We offer a range of nursing and support services to people of all ages and cultures, predominantly offered in the comfort and security of their own homes. Whether you need complex nursing care at home, support while recovering from an injury or just a bit of help with housework and grocery shopping, RDNS New Zealand supports all of it.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and proud to be making a difference to the lives of the many people who need our services. RDNS New Zealand services clients throughout the Southland, Otago and Auckland Districts. Our offices are located in Invercargill, Alexandra, Dunedin and Auckland.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role provides professional, effective advice and guidance on all employment matters. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the People & Culture Manager has primary responsibility of driving the organisation's people and culture strategy, as well as leading an experienced, high functioning HR team to plan, implement and manage all people experience activities. The role will include business partnering, organisation development, change management, talent acquisition and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment legislation. Work closely with key stakeholders and interact across all levels of the organisation, leveraging your highly developed interpersonal skills that can enhance employee experience.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess:

Significant executive experience, 5+ years HR experience in leading a People & Culture function.
Excellent working knowledge of NZ employment legislation.
Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.
Ability to demonstrate strong cultural competency, to be able to work with a diverse array of people, challenging in a non-confrontational way.
A strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen.
A proven track record of building highly effective and engaging teams.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills and anticipating the needs of multiple stakeholders.
