Generalist Dry Mill Operator

Join our Kennington-based team as a Generalist Dry Mill Operator and gain comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience across timber processing operations.
This dynamic role involves operating grading machines, wrapping and labelling packets, treating timber, and assisting with various tasks across our busy dry mill processing department.
Key Responsibilities: Operate grading machines and perform tasks such as wrapping and labelling packets.
Comprehensively learn the functions of our CCA treatment plant.
Gain experience in the processing of timber from the sawmill to dispatch for internal and external customers.
Provide occasional support and coverage for our kilns team, which operates on a 24/7 roster.
Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm, with overtime as required.
All overtime is remunerated at an overtime rate.
Guaranteed 40 hours of work each week.
Flexibility to support and cover the kilns team is essential.
