Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this role This team will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to lift organisational and individual performance, recognising the importance of the intersection between employee experience, stakeholder experience, and organisational achievement.
A focus of the team will be to build brave leaders who inspire people to be better, work in an agile flexible manner and drive high performance, leading through ambiguity,creating amazing kaimahi experiences and delivering results.
As Manager you will lead your team to design and implement performance management, leadership and capability frameworks, ensure training and documentation continues to be fit for purpose, and perform ongoing monitoring.
Work with leaders and colleagues to ensure excellence and transparency in rotation and career development across allocated business units.
Your team are responsible for the setting strategy relating to talent, succession planning & Employee Value Proposition.
As part of your role, your team will set and deliver organisational capability, attraction and retention strategy, deliver, enhance employee experience and build & nurture capability.
Design, develop and deliver initiatives to grow organisational capability, with a focus on succession development and deliver induction and other core learning programmes.
Contribute to the growth of organisational capability in te ao Maori and te Tiriti.
Set organisational standards for health, safety and wellbeing practice; deliver health, safety and wellbeing services to leaders and kaimahi.
Nga Whakaritenga Mokito | Skills and Experience * At least 5 years' experience in a human resources training, assessment, organisational behaviour and occupational health and safety role in a medium to large organisation (at least over 300 employees) * Help and design diversity & inclusion and culturally appropriate best practices.
* Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management * Commitment to developing culturally safe and respectful practices that have regard to Te Ao Maori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.

An organisational priority is that we accurately reflect Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Maori into our everyday work, by living our Te Ao Hurihuri Strategy through capability and capacity building.
Salary range: $164,276 to $199,444 pa.
Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
