Experience what it's like to work for a New Zealand owned co-operative A national team of 700+ passionate people Care Ownership Wellbeing and Safety are at the heart of our culture ABOUT THE ROLE You'll be supporting 2 critical frontline divisions in the Ballance portfolio Operations and SuperAir (our aviation subsidiary), and be a key part of their leadership team. Working amongst an experienced team, you will be partnering with leaders coaching, influencing and challenging on all things people-related. Enabling leaders through the delivery of organisational initiatives focused on leadership capability, performance, talent and engagement. Help senior business leaders understand and plan for the people implications of business decisions. Advise on complex, escalated, employee relations issues. Managers lead their own ER processes, but we're there to coach and support when things get complicated! ABOUT YOU You'll be an experienced HR professional who has some great work stories in their repertoire. Juggling the operational and strategic needs of 2 different portfolios, you'll enjoy the variety every week brings and have tested methods of prioritising. You're an influencer who is comfortable challenging leaders, and being challenged by leaders. Solid experience in generalist human resource or business partnering. Experience providing HR advice in a complex and diverse environment. An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships quickly. A sound understanding and extensive practical application of employee relations. Experience with unions and collective bargaining. Enjoys working collaboratively to achieve organisational goals.
