Based out in Elsdon, Porirua, this role will be of particular interest to those that want a change from a commute into the busy city – AND there's free parking.
The People and Culture Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Whittaker's by supporting People Leaders and the Executive to promote a high-performing culture where people enjoy coming to work.
This is a very operational, hands-on role with two direct reports – the P&C Advisor and Receptionist.
You Will Be a proven all-rounder who thrives on being involved in the full breadth that HR has to offer.
Be very knowledgeable and proven in the ER space.
Have an understanding of workers in a manufacturing setting.
Have a good solid knowledge of payroll including the holidays act (payroll outsourced).
Have adaptability and flexibility – willing to work on a variety of projects across a range of disciplines.
Have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Enjoy mentoring and partnering with the business.
