Your Opportunity:
Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to bring your passion and expertise to a team that's driven by purpose and pride? If you've met our People and Capability team, you'll know they bring energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of purpose to every task. We're inviting you to be part of our journey. Join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary People & Capability (P&C) team, where you'll work with driven professionals who love what they do. Reporting to the People and Capability Team Manager, you'll be part of an energetic, high-performing group that's focused on delivering excellent results at pace.
About the Role:
As an experienced and resourceful HR Generalist, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact—both within our organisation and for the benefit of NZ dairy farmers. You'll partner closely with leaders, using your sound judgement, relationship-building skills, and strategic insight to provide high-quality HR support across a wide range of areas. Your approach is one of partnership, guidance, and coaching; with a strong interest in growing capability and fostering leadership. While this is an optional addition to the position, this role also offers the unique opportunity to be DairyNZ's remuneration specialist. With training, support, and a good eye for detail and analytics, this is a chance to gain rare, specialised skills from running HR digital systems to deliver our compensation strategy, giving you an edge in the field and supporting your career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner strategically with General Managers and their teams to define HR needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong working relationships, ensuring a responsive and professional HR service.
Lead and support P&C projects that drive sustainable change and enable and enhance the performance of our people.
Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and work practices, elevating the P&C team's impact.
About You:
You're a credible, strategic, and proactive HR professional with:
5+ years in a senior HR role, providing impactful support to senior leaders and General Managers.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and a knack for connecting across all business levels.
A deep understanding of NZ employment law, policies, and processes.
Proven success in developing leaders and managers, combined with excellent facilitation and presentation abilities.
At DairyNZ, you'll work in a family-friendly environment that values flexibility, offers broad organisational exposure, and provides a real chance to make an impact. If you're ready to join a high-performing team and enjoy a lot of fun along the way, we'd love to hear from you! Applications close Sunday 24th November 2024 at 11:55pm.
