The Role: The Payroll Partner role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all Payroll related tasks in accordance with legislation, contractual terms and conditions, company procedures and Business Unit requirements. This role is responsible for managing end to end payroll for weekly payroll activities including management of time & attendance inputs, providing guidance and advice where required, providing support and cover for payroll team when required, payroll processing in our Chris21 payroll system, maintaining employee data, managing and providing advice on compliance with all relevant legislation and providing a high level of customer service to our business and its employees.
About You: You are a strong team player that is organized and has good communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with all key stakeholders. Your previous experience with managing high volume weekly/monthly payrolls which run end to end is key to being successful in this role. Your experience will include checking of hourly rates, leave rates, leave taken versus timesheets processed. Previous experience with manual calculations, Holidays Act, and reconciliations are a must; experience with Chris21 is highly advantageous but not absolutely necessary. We are looking for someone to hit the ground running. You have a strong attention to detail, coupled with good time management skills. This role requires someone who enjoys tackling payroll queries and is able to work effectively within tight deadlines. Payroll operates efficiently and as such you will enjoy variation, taking ownership, assisting others, and working collaboratively whilst remaining confident, resilient, and accurate. You will be part of a large and experienced team of payroll professionals, whose success is due to our high standards in a supportive and friendly environment.
