What will your typical week look like?
Manage the expectations of relevant stakeholders around the completion of these tasks and develop the technical knowledge within the Payroll Team to ensure internal and client service standards are met
Backup and technical support to the Payroll Manager, including covering pays, processing taxation, KiwiSaver and relevant pay run reports or reconciliations
Assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll, including PAYE obligations and filing the returns
Manage payroll-related queries, internal and external reporting and engage with the wider business
Be involved in various projects and payroll related work that arise from time to time

Be highly customer-focused, you will want to own the client relationship
Can work autonomously and part of the wider team
You can work in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment
Have strong time management skills, but with a strong focus on accuracy
Previous payroll experience
Experience using payroll systems is preferable, but not necessary
Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel
