Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to assist with payroll processes and handle employee queries. Strong analytical skills required.
A true Payroll Officer role where you can put your skills to the test. This Payroll Officer role is required to provide accurate processing of assigned payrolls, maintenance of employee details, and assistance with other duties that may be required to run an efficient payroll.
We are after someone that is process-driven, has fantastic attention to detail, and high integrity and discretion when working with employees' pay and personal details.

Your responsibilities will include:
Update, maintain and load employee information to the pay system ensuring correct information is maintained
Work within the pay cycle timeframes of processing and preparing the payroll for authorisation and sign off
Working with People & Culture/People Leaders/Employees on payroll queries
Ensure accuracy of entitlements and all deductions for Superannuation and KiwiSaver
Accurate and timely processing of ACC, Parental leave, IRD notifications, Tax Code changes, KiwiSaver changes, and bank account changes
Payroll reporting for the Finance Team, People Leaders, and People & Culture
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:
Payroll experience preferable but not essential
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong planning, organisational ability, and self-management skills
Experience in PayGlobal (or a significant payroll provider) but not essential
Some understanding of New Zealand employment legislation including the Holidays Act
Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal
NZPPA Certification but not essential and will work to getting this
Good Excel skills
