This newly created Payroll position will be responsible for the preparation and processing of payrolls across NZ, Australia, the US & Canada. The ideal candidate will be available to work 20hrs per week, with flexibility to suit.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller key responsibilities will include: End to end processing of the New Zealand payrollManage employee maintenance tasks such as onboarding, terminations & updating employee informationEnsure compliance with New Zealand payroll legislation and IRD requirementsLiaise with outsourced payroll providers for Australia and manage staff queriesOversee US and Canadian payroll processes and associated tasksHandling payroll queries and follow upConduct group payroll reconciliations and bank reconciliationsGroup payroll reconciliations and monthly payroll reconciliationsSkills and experience required: A minimum of 3-4 years payroll experiencePrevious experience using MYOB Advanced Payroll preferred but not essentialKnowledge of relevant employment legislation and statutory obligationsThe ability to work autonomously and independently, as well as part of a teamA strong level of accuracy and attention to detailWith global headquarters based here in Christchurch, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
