My client is a leading global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join their esteemed team.

As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the success of the growing organization.

Responsibilities: Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax-related matters, including compliance, planning, and structuring.Review and analyze complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing their tax-related concerns.Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact on clients' businesses.Lead and manage tax engagements, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tax services within established deadlines.Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and minimize tax liabilities.Conduct tax research and provide sound recommendations based on your findings to support clients' business decisions.Train, mentor, and supervise junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery.Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated services and comprehensive solutions to clients.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services, preferably within a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.Your CA/CPA qualification (preferred but not required) Must be in New Zealand or have the right to work in New Zealand due to border restrictionsIn-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and practices, including experience with international tax issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide creative and practical tax solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and senior management.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team of tax professionals.Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is desirable.A commitment to professionalism, integrity, and delivering exceptional client service.
