Experience in a commercial production kitchen and had a focus on pumping out large numbers of sweet treats, desserts and macarons highly desirable.Responsibilities:Work with Production Management to complete the daily production requirements.Under guidance you will be responsible for completing various tasks on the Daily Production schedule.Ensuring that food safety procedures are strictly adhered to.Responsible for all cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule.Operate manufacturing machinery including set up, changeovers and clean down.Ensure standard recipes are followed and quality of product is always maintained.Making certain the kitchen meets all food safety guidelines.Fulfil any general duties required by the Production Supervisor or Team Leader.Requirements:Full time position, must be available Monday to Friday from 7.00am - 3.30pm.Food safety, compliance and excellence in processes are key components of this position.Must be able to comply with all food safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Custom Food Control Plan.An understanding that daily production targets are met and food safety procedures are adhered to and relevant food safety documents are completed daily.Great communication skills in order to relay necessary information to management and members of the team.Competitive salary package of $60k (experience dependant)Free health care after six months of employment.Complimentary onsite parking.Candidates need only apply if you have valid NZ Working Rights by way of Citizenship or Permanent Residency, our client is NOT accredited and cannot support work visa variations.Hospoworld has been connecting Kiwis to their next hospitality/tourism job for over 20 years, we know the hospitality industry, and like perfect wine pairing, we can connect you to our network of leading Hospitality brands.
