Job Description:
We are seeking to employ a team of experienced Carpenters Construction Labourers & Painters. You must be able to work Independently and in a team to complete projects efficiently & effectively.
Key Responsibilities by trade:
Carpenter & Joiner
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and install wood materials to construct various structures including furniture, cabinets, doors, windows and framework.
Utilize hand and power tools such as saws, drills, planes & sanders to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Select appropriate lumber and other materials, considering factors such as durability, appearance & cost-effectiveness.
Install hardware and fittings, such as hinges, handles and locks to complete finished products.
Perform repairs and renovations on existing wooden structures, including replacing damaged components and refinishing surfaces.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations & best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other trades people to coordinate project requirements & timelines.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice & recommendations as required.
Qualifications: NZQF Level 4 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) or at least 3 years relevant experience.
Construction Labourer:
safely transport materials, tools & equipment to and from the construction site.
Assist in loading & unloading materials from trucks and delivery vehicles.
Site preparation by clearing debris, digging trenches, setting up barriers or safety signs as required.
Assisting in installing scaffolding

This role involves physical labour and may require lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
