Our client is on the lookout for a Packhouse Manager to oversee the full kiwifruit packing process, from pre-season prep to post-harvest wrap-up.What you'll be doing:Organising the packhouse pre-season to ensure everything's in tip-top shape - cleaning, calibrating, and making sure the team is ready to goLeading daily harvest meetings and coordinating with the coolstore team to keep operations on trackManaging the packing line efficiently, ensuring quality targets and output are metSupporting and motivating your team to perform at their best while maintaining Health & Safety standardsContinuously seeking improvements in processes, equipment, and team dynamics to boost productivity and fruit qualityWhat you bring:Proven experience in packhouse management, ideally in the horticulture industryLeadership skills to inspire your team and keep them focused, even during the busiest timesA focus on detail, ensuring smooth operations and excellent outcomesThe ability to stay calm and organised, even when peak season pressure is onIf you're ready for a role in a fast-paced environment with a great team, we'd love to hear from you!To be consistent for this role you must be eligible to work in NZ, have NZ residency, or hold a valid NZ work permit.
